Rooks from diagonal attacks

When I started to play I learned the hard way not to move the pawn in front of the knight, a common mistake for beginners that lose their rooks from diagonal attacks

moving your pawns from in front of your knights can be very powerful if you’re moving your bishop to where they were because your bishop essentially cuts the board in half and contributes to your own center control.
